operating costs, wreaths increased to $17 each.

Our Wreath Goal This Year:
Schedule of Events
Buses will begin at 8:00 am shuttling the general public from the offsite parking to JNC
(off site parking address listed at the bottom of this page).
When you arrive at JNC and depart the bus there will be a welcome tent where you can check in. Golf carts will be available to transport the handicap around the cemetery. If you have questions once at JNC you can look for a volunteer in an orange vest to help.

WAA Staff Arrives at JNC
Motorcycle Escort stages at the AMC parking lot in Yulee.
7:00 am
Onsite Parking Committee arrives, Section Leaders and Teams Arrive at JNC, Check in, Get Orange Vest
8:00 am
Buses begin running between the Turf Plant and JNC
9:00 am
Motorcycle escort and tractor trailers leave YULEE heading to JNC
9:30 am
Wreaths arrive at JNC and offloading and staging begins
10:30 am to 1:00 pm
Families ONLY are invited to place wreaths for family members
11:30 am
“Let Freedom Sing” chorus begins at assembly area
11:50 am
Presentation of the Steve Spikelmeier Award
12:00 pm
Ceremony to begin with a Nationwide moment of silence at the JNC assembly area and Ceremony begins after minute of silence and the WAA Script is read and Placement of ceremonial wreaths
Families are invited to place wreaths
1:00 pm
The general public is invited to place wreaths
Please dress for the weather!
If it has been raining prior to our event the ground will be wet and in some places muddy.
Wear the appropriate footwear. The weather can change!!!
It may be cold in the morning but by the afternoon it can be hot out there.
Please dress in layers.
Wreath Retrieval Day
January 13, 2024
Meet at 9:30 am at the JNC information Center for a safety briefing then we begin collecting wreaths.
Please bring gloves and broomsticks or poles. The whole process will take less than an hour.

Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, our mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 3,200 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad.
