EVENT DETAILS
We invite you to join us on Wreaths Across America Day at Jacksonville National Cemetery. All are welcome to come place a wreath. You do not need to register if you are coming to place a wreath. We’d love to have you join us!
If you plan to bring a group of volunteers larger than 20 people, please register your group here.
All event parking is at a remote parking location. Thanks to Anheuser-Busch for allowing us to use their facility for parking. The address of the parking location is near the intersection of Lem Turner and Lannie Roads. The address is 16163 Lem Turner Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
Continuous shuttle transportation is provided by JTA & Durham School services.

Key volunteers arrive

Shuttles from remote parking begin
9:30 am
Arrival of motorcycle escort and semitrucks carrying wreaths
9:45 am
Unloading and staging of wreaths by volunteers
10:30 am
Family members invited to place a wreath at their loved one's gravesite
11:30 am
Wreaths Across America Ceremony begins at the Assembly Area
1:00 pm
Public is invited to place wreaths in all parts of the cemetery
Please dress for the weather!
If it has been raining prior to our event the ground will be wet and in some places muddy.
Wear the appropriate footwear. The weather can change!!!
It may be cold in the morning but by the afternoon it can be hot out there.
Please dress in layers.
